- I’m a Christ-Follower, a wife, a teacher and a mother of sorts to a Golden Retriever named Guinness who is my pride and joy. I have a not-so-typical relationship with my husband who happens to be 35 years older than myself but who can, like myself, revert to a state of childhood silliness at the drop of a hat. I enjoy the simple pleasures in life and like Bono says, “the right to be ridiculous is something I hold dear.” Euphoria for me comes in those quiet moments when I can completely nerd-out about something that I’m fanatical about. Like Harry Potter..or U2. I am of the firm belief that everyone has nerdisms and the happiest people in this world have accepted that and indulge frequently. I have a fondness for all things Celtic and am, myself, Scottish. I have a fire in my heart for teaching and making a difference in the lives of our youth. Adventures never come frequently enough for me or at least that’s what my A.D.D. tends to suggest to me. My newest adventure has been the lifestyle/diet overhaul I’ve implicated in my life. I’m on a journey to lose 100 lbs so stick with me. I’m a quiet menagerie of passions, ambitions, snark and sweetness.My name is Gina and this is my story.
